Second diving day done. Unfortunately Manta Point which should be the number one dive destination here was not excellent today. On a good day it would have clear water and a lot of huge (7-8 meters) manta rays around, but today the visibility was like five meters and we saw zero mantas or any other animal worth mentioning there. Just a bunch of small snails and random small fish.

The other dive of today was not that much better, very cold (+19C) water and very strong currents which prevented exploring most of the area.

Otherwise, a work day.. Last one before vacations.

First dives done. :)

Some turtles, a lot of small fish and strong currents. Nothing special yet, but tomorrow should be better as the dive sites are a bit more interesting. Otherwise just a work day..

Relocated to Nusa Lembongan island, some diving in the program tomorrow. Otherwise it was a tiresome day, due to work needed to stay up most of the night and two hours isn't exactly enough sleep.. Well, more sleep tonight in our nice new bungalow next to a beach.

Workday, so today was rather uneventful too. We drove a bit and visited a coffee plantation and that's pretty much it. :)

Today was a bit more successful day, waking up at normal time in the morning. We rented a scooter, drove to see a forest of sacred monkeys and I worked the rest of the day in a local coworking space. So, still not that much special program but at least something. :)

Seems like I forgot to pack the camera charger with us, but that was surprisingly easy to resolve. Some Google Translate -assisted online shopping and I had a new charger in like two hours, brought by a motorcycle courier. In the morning I also continued our travel tradition, ordering the first morning coffees to door by such courier.. :p

Well, this day didn't go exactly as planned, due to sleeping until 3pm. Seems we had some lack of sleep after the busy previous days and the flights..

Still had time to walk up a hill on a walking path, have some more tasty local food and a foot massage. Also for the first time tasted the Kopi Luwak coffee, the one that has been.. erm.. processed by a civet cat. Smooth and tasty coffee, but nothing that special.

This time it's a bit longer stay in Asia, already booked last summer. First some weeks in Indonesia, then a week in Vietnam and some two months on our favourite winter home Koh Tao.

Just arrived to Bali and took a taxi to Ubud, after looong flights from Helsinki via Qatar. Finnair and Qatar are nice airlines even in economy, but seven and ten hours are still long.. Hard to say anything about Bali yet, after only arriving in dark and having the first dinner here.
