<p>The layover problem was relatively easily solved with some persistence. "So, going out of the airport costs 105eur in taxes and stopover fees?" "Yes" "Can we change to an earlier flight to Taipei?" "No, not possible" "Can we speak to your manager?". </p><p>Now we have tickets on the 11:10 flight to Taipei instead of 17:30, and that's just fine. We have about three hours to spend, and first class lounge is an excellent place for that. Some light breakfast and gin&tonic.. :P</p>
