Subject: Post: We departed Merzouga after breakfast and drove almost 700 kilometers to the beach resort of Agadir. Damn, we always manage to underestimate the distances a bit.. Was a long day. :)When we got closer to the coast and Agadir landscapes changed from Mars-like red deserts to more green, and traffic got more busy. Obviously most of the population live on the coastline in more favorable conditions than in the desert parts of the country. We also made a brief contact with the local police. I obviously missed a speed limit change just before Agadir, and a not so happy police officer with radar was about to give me a 300 dirhams (some 28eur) speeding ticket. He let us go without a ticket after a while though, as we were tourists.. Luckily, we had no cash at the moment. :) Latitude: Longitude: Security Code:
