Subject: Post: During the boarding it had looked like the plane wouldn't be too full, but unfortunately that was not the case. There were empty seats here and there, but to our great disappointment we got on our three-seat center row a big fat Italiano guy sitting next to us. Cathay Pacific seats were wider than Finnair's, so there was still reasonable space but it was still far from comfortable.Just before the takeoff came a surprise: The Italian guy went to ask flight attendants if he could move next to his friend, and we got the entire three-seat row just for us. That felt like a class upgrade to business class, we had an empty seat between us for all the stuff, direct access to the alley and a lot of space all around. Made the long flight so much easier to tolerate.Saying that the flight become easier to tolerate doesn't however mean it was easy. Upon landing to Hong Kong I felt like my every muscle was hurting and I had been sitting in that plane forever. Eleven and half hours in economy class seats is still a surprisingly long time.Anyway, we landed safely to Hong Kong, got our bags and passed the immigration easily. Now to the hostel. By the way, when I booked the flights (slightly drunk) I made a practical joke and selected Hindu meals for Timo. Timo successfully evaded the prank and I ended up being the Hindu myself.. Well, nothing bad to say about Hindu meals of Cathay Pacific, they were just spicy and good, mostly consisting of chicken meat. The breakfast was a bit odd though, just a big bowl of chicken meat in sauce and a croissant. Timo's normal breakfast was an omelet with bacon. Latitude: Longitude: Security Code:
