Subject: Post: Blah. Yesterday was some kind of a religious festival day, and beer was not sold in the whole city. So, we just had a tea or two and some nargila with the Danish and the US guys..<p>Today we had a long walk around the Damascus old town, which is a labyrinth of small alleys and bazaars, very easy to get lost in. I guess we walked something like 10 kilometers with no idea of our exact location, just for fun and for seeing the area. Like yesterday the hot afternoon was spent taking a nap and hanging around in the hotel.. Like predicted, we are just chilling out here with not much to write about :)<p>Tomorrow we are probably moving to Beirut, Lebanon by taking a bus over the border. Beirut is only about 100km from here, so that shouldn't be a long journey.. And they have sea, so maybe we finally will get to swim.<p>Enjoy a few more pictures of Damascus below.
